THE X FILES SEASON 1 EPISODE 3:Squeeze 

Synopsis:Special agents Mulder and Scully investigate a series of murders where there seems to be no way in to kill. Mulder suspects a seemingly normal man named Eugene Tooms who he thinks is a mutant over a hundred years old who eats the victims livers to prolong his life by thirty years in his apartment in a sort of hibernation.

My overview/rating:This episode is one of the many brilliant ones in the series because the acting was strong and was very clever. Also the writer Chris Carter was very clever in creating a sense of tension and mystery through out the 45 minute episode.

My rating:9.2/10

Note:The character Eugene Tooms will return towards the end of the season in the episode Tooms where he will escape from prison.

Doctor who

WHAT'S UP WITH THE. NEW SERIES (THE ELEVENTH DOCTOR)

























1.The story lines

Unfortunately the story lines of the eleventh doctor (Matt Smith) are too complicated especially the River Song story and the eleventh doctors death which would have made many younger viewers who may not watch the series every weekend will not be able to understand the story line of River Song going back into the doctors past whilst the doctor is venturing into her future, and even if you watch the whole of the series your most likely still scratching your head trying to work out the plot. Another awful story line is the crack in time. This story line is the only one that I would not even bother to watch not only because the plot was slow and the acting was weak and without emotion is because of Rory's story and the fact for some unknown reason after being killed in the next story he returns alive and unharmed.

2.The companions

The second reason why the newest series is the worst in the history of doctor who is because of the companions. One great example is of the doctor's now left companions Rory and Amy who lacked everything that a companion should have such as the screaming when a monster/alien is coming towards them and the basic fact that they where weak actor's and this is confirmed by the fact that they have not moved up to getting main parts just side kicks. Another great example is the newest companion Clara who isn't doing that much of a better job because out of the whole time she's been in the series she has yet to become someone that people would remember apart from being a joke to the whole series.

3.The monsters/aliens

The villains in doctor who is just another point of disappointment in the series because they may look better and the special effects are better but they fail to strike fear in the younger audience. Old monsters where a lot better such as the Daemons or the yeti used to leave people with fear and suspense in their hearts but now it seems that the monsters such as the daleks in the episode Victory to the daleks are afraid of a jammy dodger. If this was the 1970's the daleks would have just exterminated the doctor instead of being afraid.

But there may be hope as there is a new doctor arriving in the shape of John Hurt who hopefully can turn the doctor's fate back around.

Psych

One of my personal favourite comedies is the tv show psych that blends a perfect balance of cop and comedy action by following the story of a psychic name Shaun who works with the police. Here are the video links for the complete first season, enjoy!!!

Supernatural

If you liked the science fiction tv program the x files then you will love a series called supernatural.

The series follows the story of two brothers Sam Winchester played by Jared Padalecki and Dean Winchester played by Jensen Ackles who where brought into a life of hunting mythical creatures such as ghosts and demons by their father played by Jeffery Dean Morgan after their mother was killed by a demon when Sam was just six months old.

Seasons 1-3:During the first three seasons follows Sam and Dean fight against the yellow eyed demon called Azazel played by Fredric Lehne who is looking to open the gates of hell but the only way that he can do this is by using a type of super human fed with demon blood when they were six months old like Sam. This leads into the season 3 story line when Sam is killed by another superhuman Dean saves him by getting a crossroads demon and ending up with one year to live.

Seasons 4-5:After Dean being sent to hell he is summoned back by angels because of the next big enemy to face, Lucifer. They end up having to get help from a angel named Castiel played by Misha Collins who helps them fight off demons and such, but this is no good as Sam accidentally breaks Lucifer free leading the Earth to chaos. At the end of the fifth season Sam takes the ultimate sacrifice and kills him self along with Lucifer and the arch angel Michael.

Seasons 6-7:Sam returns from Hell with no soul and seems to be with one of their grandfathers and a few of their cousins who like Sam and Dean are hunters, but there is great evil on the way as someone has summoned the mother of all from purgatory. Also Castiel has teamed up with the king of Hell to take all the souls from Purgatory. this ends badly as this leads to more trouble by unleashing Leviathan's upon earth which will end in disaster as Bobby played by Jim Beaver is killed and Castiel and Dean are sent to Purgatory.

Season 8:Dean returns from Purgatory to find that the messenger of God Kevin Tran played by Osric Chau as news of a demon tablet that could close the doors of Hell forever. Unfortunately they have to go through Crawley to close the doors and must complete three trials. The first is to kill a hell hound, the second is to set free an innocent soul from hell and the final one is to purify a demon. that's not all as Castiel formally thought to have been lost in purgatory becomes friends with the scribe of God, Metatron who would like nothing more that to get a second tablet called the angel tablet and banish the angels from heaven. In the end Metatron banishes the angels and Sam after almost completing the final trial is left dying on the floor.

Eurovision Albania 2004-2013

Two and a half men review

TWO AND A HALF MEN SEASON 1 EPISODE 1-Pilot

Synopsis:In the first episode of this epic comedy series sees Alan Harper (Jon Cryer) an unsuccessful chiropractor having to seek shelter from his wealthy jingle composer, drunk and successful with the ladies brother Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen) because his ex-wife Judith (Marin Hinkle) wants a divorce which also means that Alan must take care of his son Jake Harper (Angus T. Jones) who he only sees on weekends. The two brothers have nothing in common apart from their hatred of their mother Evelyn Harper (Holland Taylor) who's attitude towards them may have made them what they are to this day.

Overview/criticism- This episode of two and a half men sparks the revolution of the phenomenal tv show on which all the actors play their parts with poise and brilliance. It's crude humour though may not be to everybody's tastes.

My rating: 8.2/10

The x files episode 2 review

THE X FILES SEASON 1 EPISODE 2-Deep throat

Synopsis:Special Agents Mulder and Scully travel to Idaho in order to investigate the disappearance of  a military test pilot. Whilst investigate they witness strange lights in the sky over the air base and when Mulder breaks in he witnesses the flight of a supposed UFO at which point Mulder is approached by a mysterious man named Deep throat who wants to help them reveal the truth to the whole world.

Overview:This episode is another strange and mysterious episode which makes you hang on to the edge of your seat with anticipation and it will make you want more but this episode like many of the others in the first season seems a bit dated because of the 90s hair cuts and the 90s vehicles used during the episode such as the Ford Victoria.

My rating:9.2/10

Note:The character Deep Throat is played by Jerry Hardin and will make six more appearances during the first season.

The x files review

THE X FILES SEASON 1 EPISODE 1-Pilot

The x files is a science fiction program about a branch in the FBI called the x files who investigate crimes of a paranormal or supernatural nature . The program is based on two characters one called Special Agent Mulder who joined the x files division to search for his abducted sister Samantha Mulder and the second called Special Agent Dana Scully who joined the x files devision to spy and report to a man called cigarette smoking man.

In this episode Agents Mulder and Scully investigate a case of abductions with a twist as the man named Billy Myles who's taking them to the spacecraft has been paralysed. The two FBI agents work out that the aliens are controlling his walking ability. At the end of the episode Mulder and Scully stop the abductions and Billy Myles regains control of his legs.

Note: Billy Myles returns in seasons 7 and 8 to spark a new revolution of abductions
